My baby graduates!

I know I am long overdue to post, but I really feel like life is just flying by with Courtney graduating from preschool. I know some of you may laugh, but I was pretty teary eyed during the whole thing. I just can't believe she starts school in the fall.
She was fortunate to go to school with one of her best friends, Maddie, all year. They had a great time being together and I was happy that I got to carpool.
They are so crazy! They had a little girl in their class give them these candy leis.
This is their teacher, Miss Kelsey, who was so good to put up with Courtney all year. Courtney had a hard time every single day. She doesn't like to be away from me and cried most days. Miss Kelsey was great with her and really made her feel like school was a great place to be. She even told me that she would go to Kindergarten if Miss Kelsey could be her teacher!
I guess we've known that she is growing up. She told Dave two weeks ago that she would not watch any more baby shows, which included, Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Dora, and others. She said she would only watch Hanna Montana and High School Musical. Dave said he felt like he was punched in the stomach. We don't want her to grow up but are so proud of her and all that she has accomplished and what she will accomplish. Although in the program she stated that she wanted to be a pirate when she grows up, I know that she will be successful in whatever she wants to be.

Courtney is so cute! They do grow up so fast. My Tehya graduates preschool this Thursday. She, on the other hand, can't wait to get away from me and go to Kindergarten, lol. I would love to have a "mommy's girl"! Kindergarten is a big step for our little ones and prepare to cry that day too :) I remember thinking with Connor that all I could do was pray that I taught him well as he went to "take on the world" without his mommy. And now I can report that he did well...some challenges of course, but he is ending his first year of school on a high note and I bet Courtney will do the same next year!

Congratulations! It is a sad day when Cinderella gets replaced by Hannah Montana, but it's also fun to see them grow up. What a sweet girl.
