We went camping a few weeks ago and it was a blast! Courtney said she wanted to camp every day. Dave isn't a big camper but has decided to try to be one because we love it so much. It was our first trip of the season. The campground was great. It had so many trees and bushes. Courtney and I walked all around the campground looking for the good camping sites(this is a hint for anyone wanting to camp with us). She was excited to see a squirrel, chipmunks, and hummingbirds. We were told by the camp host that we could also see deer and rabbits, and she was pretty disappointed that we didn't end up seeing any. I don't think there is anything better than lighting a fire, just as it is beginning to cool off, and then making smores before bed. We love it! Don't worry, it wasn't all fun though. It rained a lot while we were there, which kept us inside, but it was fun to be in the trailer. Courtney also fell into the fire the second night, but was somehow ok. We played lots of Uno and Rook and hope to go again soon.

Camping

I loved this post! I don't know if you remember, but my family used to go camping/hiking all the time- they still do. Then I married a husband who can't stand camping, lol! Go figure! Last year we went "camping" as a family for the first time, but it was in a cabin. We bought a tent this year and Eric seems somewhat excited about it so maybe that will get him out into the woods again. We'll see...
